Ashok Leyland bags the single largest order for 2,104 fully built buses from MSRTC.

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation is one of the country's largest state transport undertakings with more than 15,000 buses.

“This new order underlines our commitment towards producing highly efficient and technologically advanced products, which will drive the growth of public transport in the country.”

These modern, buses will be fully compliant with the latest CMVR standards and have AIS 153 compliant body and rear air suspension, among other key features.

These Viking passenger, fully built buses will have the proven iGEN6 BS VI OBD II technology with 197 HP H-series engines.

These buses will be manufactured at Ashok Leyland’s exclusive bus body plants and will provide enhanced safety, improved comfort, and lower total cost of ownership for MSRTC.

Ashok Leyland is India's largest bus manufacturer. This latest order further strengthens Ashok Leyland's position in the Indian and global bus market.
