Eka Mobility plans a full range of e-buses and micro-factories in line with the EV megatrend.

Although Eka Mobility has entered the cargo commercial vehicle segment, the company's main focus is on the people-carrying segment.

Currently, Eka Mobility produces its electric vehicles at a plant located at Koregaon Bhima, outside Pune.

Eka Mobility's next plant is scheduled in Chakan, near Pune, by September this year, with a total area of 17,900 square metres.

Eka Mobility planned a mega plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh by next year, with an initial investment of around INR 200 crore.

Eka Mobility currently has only one e-bus, with a length of 9 meters, an e-SCV with a payload of 1.5 tonnes. The company has sold around a hundred 9-meter e-buses have been sold and 10 e-SCVs are carrying cargo on the Mumbai-Pune route.

The company planning to introduce a 12-meter e-bus, currently undergoing homologation, later this month, which will be followed by a 7-meter e-bus planned to launch by September this year.
