This unique industry-academic joint initiative equips around 4000 students with practical automotive skills every year, with 30% of the enrolment being girls.

In 2023, more than 1,600 students from this program participated in the National Automobile Olympiad organised by ASDC, of which 17 reached in the second stage.
To date, 25 labs, fully equipped with necessary tools have been established in selected JNVs in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Students can pursue a diploma in Manufacturing Technology, which includes on-job training and a stipend at Tata Motors manufacturing plants after passing out from JNV school.
This skills lab provides subject knowledge, practical skills and valuable industry experience to secondary and senior secondary students studying in classes 9th to 12th.
For practical experience and learning, students can visit Tata Motors plants, engage with dealership and service personnel, and hear lectures from industry experts.
