Zelio Ebikes Launches First E-Rickshaw Models - Tanga Butterfly and Tanga SS at the EV India Expo 2024 in New Delhi.

Zelio's new e-rickshaws Tanga Butterfly and Tanga SS are powered by a 1200W motor and run on a 48/60V 135Ah Eastman battery.

Both e-rickshaws offer a range of 100 km on a single charge. The vehicles have an SMPS charger, which requires approximately eight hours for a full charge.

In terms of safety and comfort, the models are equipped with advanced braking systems, a front lever-operated drum brake, a rear paddle-operated drum brake, and more.

The models' wheelbases are 2030 mm, lengths are 2690 mm, widths are 1000 mm, heights are 1710 mm, and ground clearances are 200 mm. They are designed to effectively handle urban and semi-urban roads.

The Tanga SS will come in Blue, Red, Sea Blue, Parrot Green, and Grey, while the Tanga Butterfly will be available in Red, Grey, White, Sky Blue, and Military Green.

These Zelio's e-rickshaws are ex-showroom priced at INR 1,45,000 for the Tanga Butterfly and Rs 1,40,000 for the Tanga SS.
